Our art department reflects the veteran designers of the industry plus some of the best young talent available. Here, we blend technology, experience, and creativity into a cohesive team. Our 20+ team members are committed to making YOU, the customer look good!
Download our art specifications and start your project off on the right foot. Empire's repertoire includes: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and CorelDraw, plus other software designed to compliment our production needs. With the latest Mac/PC software and hardware, we can use your existing artwork, create art from supplied schematic/blueprints, or create unique designs.
Project Management
To fight rising costs and meet tight deadlines, Empire has two divisions within our art department. There is a production team, who handle the day-to-day business of artwork and prepress for a variety of customers, and the project management team, who focus on corporate clients and their specific needs. Our project managers work with the customer and sales to ensure quality and customer satisfaction throughout the entire production process.

Color Management
Our business is to make you the customer look good. With the latest color management software, we can provide you a certified G7™ compliant Epson proof for your approval. Throughout the production process, we measure our results, using Nazdar's Data Capture Software along with a X-Rite i1 Pro Spectrophotometer to ensure your finished product visually matches your proof.
Pre-Press Support - R & D Department - Ink Department
Precise printing doesn't happen without some effort prior to press. How do I know if this ink will adhere to this material? How critical is my material or adhesive choice? How much ink coverage? Will the colors fade during outdoor use (we test here, as the right image shows)? Will the color be consistent with my other printed materials? These questions and thousands like them have already been answered by experienced personnel in Empire's R & D and Ink Departments.
Empire's R & D and Ink Departments actively support Customer Service, Art Production and Project Management in providing prepress support. All departments contributing to prepress have access to modern diagnostic equipment, proofing systems, color management, and color matching software.
